Acupuncture during pregnancy

Pregnancy is a time of many changes, both physically and emotionally. Alongside the excitement of expecting a baby, you may also experience symptoms such as nausea, fatigue, back or pelvic pain, disturbed sleep or feeling tense and uncomfortable.

Acupuncture can be used alongside regular pregnancy care to support you with some of these complaints. Each treatment is adapted to your stage of pregnancy, your symptoms and how you are feeling at that particular moment.

Acupuncture is also sometimes used when a baby is in a breech position. In my practice, I offer treatment around 32–34 weeks of pregnancy, as part of a careful and individual approach.

Whether you are looking for support with a specific complaint or simply a little more balance and relaxation during your pregnancy, you are welcome to discuss what acupuncture might offer you.
